Talbut Road House Fire

At 0317 hours May 26, 2026, all Scituate Stations with Rescue 2 were dispatched to Talbut Road for a reported house fire. Tanker 61, Brush 63, and Unit 68 responded.

First arriving companies from Hope & Jackson Fire Company transmitted a code red and reported a well involved 2 story wood frame dwelling with all occupants evacuated.

Due to structural collapses that had occurred prior to arrival of the fire department, members operated exterior only.

13 members from Chopmist Hill responded and operated on the scene for 4 hours.
